Having recently moved to France and established a business, I am only too aware of the problems. We have decided therefore to offer ex-patriots and those interested in relocating in France, a service, which includes assistance with the completion of French forms, of which there are many. Additionally, our native French partners can assist with questions you may have and may also be able to put questions on your behalf to the French authorities. Essentially, this is a bureau service, which, having been through the French system, will be invaluable to those with little or no knowledge of French.

To give you one simple example. To register my own car in France I had to:

• Export the car from the UK
• Obtain a VAT certificate from the French equivalent of the UK Customs and Excise
• Change my headlights to make the car French compliant
• Obtain a French MOT equivalent
• Wait at the Prefecture for 8 hours in total

Please remember, I have access to a native French partner who helped, without her expertise, the whole experience would have been a nightmare.
